FAQ
Q. Will I receive a reference?A.
Yes. After you have completed a campaign you may request a reference.
We keep all of our staff's details on file so we are more than happy to
assist with phone references.
Q. Will the work fit in with my uni timetable?A.
Most of the work is flexible. There will be days when you may be running stalls or
events on campus. These are organised in advance.
We prefer staff to be available during lunchtimes, which is the busiest
time on campus.
Q. Do I get to choose which campaign I work on?A.
We try and match up campaigns with our staff's skills and interests.
You will be asked during the recruitment process which campaign
'speaks' to you once the clients have been finalised.
Q. How many campaigns are run each year?A.
We usually run campaigns at the beginning of semester,
mid-semester with
smaller campaigns dotted in-between. After your first campaign with us,
if you are available and interested, we will recruit the top staff
to work on subsequent campaigns.
Q. When do the campaigns start?A. The next round of campaigns start in
O-Week Semester 1, 2009. We are recruiting for those campaigns
now.
Q. What do I get paid?A. $18.50 an hour plus prizes and bonuses on top of that.
Q. What is the duration of a campaign? How many hours of work do I need to do per week?A. Usually the whole campaign runs for 2 - 4 weeks. You may be working between 8 - 13 hours each week.
